HB1465 Disposal in Landfills/Addl. Bans

HB1465 Disposal in Landfills/Addl. Bans which was ratified on August 23, 2005, (Session Law 2005-362) became effective on October 1, 2009.  The bill prohibits, among other things, recyclable rigid plastic containers from being disposed of in landfills. 

It is important to note that the law applies to everyone - not just corporate entities.  Read the full bill here.
