Md. legislation aims to solve the great milk crate caper
College students might have to find something else to organize their dorm rooms with if a bill in the General Assembly becomes law.
Proposed legislation would require recyclers of plastic crates used to carry milk and other products to document the volume they receive, because theft of the crates is costing Maryland businesses $50 million each year, by some estimates.
